Bridges storms to victory at Stackstown Golf Club

Local man Richard Bridges proved how important local knowledge is at Stackstown Golf Club, as he stormed to victory in the TopGolfer Senior Scratch Cup. A total of 139 (-5) gave him a comfortable victory over the field. Players all raved about the quality of the golf course, as the firm and slick greens particularly challenged the players short games.

The defending champion from 2009, Shane McGlynn from South County gave a fine defence of his title, claiming 2nd place with fine rounds of 75 & 70. His brother Niall snatched 3rd place to make it a good day for the McGlynn family.
