Ciaran O’Rourke triumphs in Malahide Junior Scratch

Ciaran O'Rourke (5) from Malahide Golf Club secured his place at the TopGolfer Tour Championship on his home turf with a score of 74 in the Junior Scratch Cup.

Ciaran edged out Keith Cohalan (5) of Killeen Golf Club on a very close countback which went down to the last 3 holes. Third place was Ross O'Toole (7).

There were 95 competitors and the CSS was 73. Conditions were fantastic considering the downpour of the day before with the golf course and in particular the newly opened red 9 in great condition.

The nearest the pin winner who took home a €50 Betfair voucher was Conor Sutton who's ball was marked at 41".
