Ryan O’Doherty is Junior Champ a Enniscrone

A superb round of golf from Ryan O'Doherty (6) secured the TopGolfer Junior Scratch Cup at Enniscrone this afternoon. With a score of 74 just 1 over par, O'Doherty charged home ahead of the field with nearest rival Sam O'Connor (8) who shot an impressive round himself still finding himself 4 strokes behind the winner. In fact O'Connor finished 4 strokes ahead of Ed Donaldson and Joseph Forde who finished third and fourth respectively with rounds of 82 on what most of the field found a tough day in the early morning wind and rain. Thanks to everyone who competed today and for the gang who joined us for the clubhouse celebrations - a very enjoyable day. We'll see you in Carton House Ryan. The standard scratch was 74.
