Seamus Power is TopGolfer at Faithlegg

Seamus Power (+2) of West Waterford took the Senior Scratch title at Faithlegg GC yesterday on a countback from Kevin Collins (3) of Fermoy GC. Both men shot 75’s. Chris Butler (1) from Tramore finished third just one back.

Playing in the last group, Power missed much of the wet and windy weather which beset the course for the morning, and enjoyed the glorious sunshine that set across the Waterford club for the rest of the day. The C.S.S. was confirmed at 75 (+3) an emphasis of just how tough the course played in the conditions off the back tees.

The event still produced some great scores despite the early conditions and the immaculate condition of the golf course impressed everyone who competed.
