The CITIZEN Winter Pairs Series 2011/12

The Citizen Winter Pairs Series is aimed at bridging those 6 months between October and March when traditionally competitive golf slips off the radar completely. Thanks to a huge amount of interest from TopGolfers and the fantastic support of our partners at Citizen Watches, we are delighted to announce the details of our first winter series.

Entry into the series is free, you simply pay the green fee at the events you wish to enter. At every event we will be on the first tee checking in teams and giving out our goody bags. You can register your team and team name with us at an event.

You can enter any of our winter series by booking online or by phoning the club like you would for one of our tour events.

Format:
The Citizen Winter Series is a 2-man team event
The handicap ceiling for a team member is 9
The format is Betterball Strokeplay
3/4 H/c Allowance
Points will be allocated based on your teams final position in an event (see points table below)
Teams can enter in as many of the series events as they wish. Only a teams’ best two event scores will count as their series score.
The members of the team cannot change but players can play in more than one team. (So for example, a player could play 2 events with one team member, and 2 other events with another team member).

Prizes:
1st - The winning team will be presented with 2 x Citizen World Perpetual A-T (Titanium Version) Watches (RRP €475 each)
2nd - The team in second place will be presented with 2 x Citizen Calibre 8700 Watches (RRP €370 each)
3rd - The third placed team will take away 2 x 4 ball vouchers for the Palmer Ryder Cup Course at The K Club

Sun December 11th 2011 - The Ryder Cup Course at The K Club - Entry €120 per team (incl. coffee/tea & breakfast roll)

Sat Feb 11th 2012 - Rosslare Golf Links - Entry €50 per team

Sun March 11th 2012 - The Ryder Cup Course at The K Club - Entry €120 per team (incl. coffee/tea & breakfast roll)

1st - 500 pts
2nd - 490 pts
3rd - 480 pts
4th - 470 pts
5th - 460 pts
6th - 450 pts
7th - 400 pts
8th - 390 pts
9th - 380 pts
10th - 370 pts
11th - 300 pts
12th - 290 pts
13th - 280 pts
14th - 270 pts
15th - 260 pts
16th - 250 pts
17th - 240 pts
18th - 230 pts
19th - 220 pts
20th - 210 pts
21st+ 200 pts
